About the Role
This role is the operational core of our studio. You will be the person who gets things built, sourced, tested, and launched. Working alongside our vendor partners, you will manage manufacturer and supplier relationships, lead supply chain buildouts for new brands, coordinate with regulatory scientists, and own the operational infrastructure from paper formula to product on shelf. Occasional travel to manufacturing facilities for first-time production runs is expected.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of operations experience in consumer packaged goods with a preference on supplements (functional food and beverage and beauty exposure is a plus)
- Hands-on experience in the dietary supplements industry — familiarity with branded ingredients, COAs, stability testing, and label regulations (FTC/FDA)
- Hands-on experience managing contract manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and 3PLs
- Comfortable negotiating rates and terms directly with vendors
- Experience coordinating packaging development — structural, artwork, and compliance
- Willing and able to travel for factory visits, supplier meetings, and trade events
- Extreme attention to detail – understands every nuance of every PO, formulation and meticulously tracks workflows and expenses.
- Strong organizational skills — able to manage multiple brands and workstreams simultaneously without losing detail
- Based in the U.S. and available to work U.S. business hours
Strongly Preferred
- Experience building supply chains from scratch for new product launches
- Experience with regulatory documentation and working alongside regulatory scientists
- Experience at or with a venture studio, incubator, or multi-brand operator
Who You'll Work With
This role sits at the center of the Squared Circles operation and you will report to our Head of Incubation. Day to day, you will collaborate closely with the internal Squared Circles team, the leadership of our launched brands, and our network of third-party contractors and manufacturers.

- Manage third-party contractor relationships — contract manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and 3PLs — end to end
- Lead pilot runs and first production runs for new SKUs, including QC documentation and sign-off
- Negotiate rates, terms, and SLAs with manufacturers and ingredient suppliers
- Manage ingredient ordering, PO management, and inventory forecasting across active brands
- Oversee stability testing and potency testing coordination with third-party labs
- Travel to manufacturing facilities for first-time production runs, typically once per quarter
- Translate formulation briefs into operational reality — sourcing ingredients, vetting contract manufacturers, and managing prototype development
- Coordinate with regulatory scientists on claims substantiation and label compliance
- Ensure label compliance and regulatory paperwork across all active SKUs
- Manage packaging development from structural to artwork coordination
- Support the zero-to-one build for new incubation ventures: supply chain, packaging, claims, and vendor onboarding
- Own the first three months of supply chain and ops for each newly launched brand
- Support the ongoing supply chain for our active brands Swimclub and Amulet — managing packaging revisions, vendor documentation, new product development with our science team.
